The Forensic Autopsy Technician Internship Program is dedicated to preparing students for future employment within the forensic field. This program is structured similar to a collegiate course with a set syllabus, suggested reading, lectures, evaluations and assessments. Interns accepted are evaluated for continuation after the first semester as one year of training is not guaranteed. Interns will learn evisceration techniques, proper chain of custody when handling evidence, data entry and all aspects of the role of an autopsy technician.
